The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles to 42 in the Rough Riders league triumph on Friday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Gorman for a AA contest on Saturday, January 20. Roosevelt will battle a Knights team coming off a 57-47 league win over Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights record now stands at 6-3.

The Bucks/Gazelles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD). The Lynx enter the AA contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Brandon Valley ran past Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 61-40, in a league contest.
