California High School Basketball - Serra tipped by St. Bernard

The St. Bernard Vikings basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Serra Cavaliers to 67 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony for a Del Rey contest on Wednesday, January 24. St. Bernard will meet a Saints team coming off a 61-46 league loss to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Saints record now stands at 17-6.
The Cavaliers (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights enter the Del Rey contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Bishop Montgomery was nudged by St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 62-57, in a league contest.
