The Smith Valley Bulldogs tipped the visiting Virginia City Muckers basketball team by a final score of 69-68 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Excel Christian Warriors (Sparks, NV) in a 1A West game, on Saturday, January 20. Smith Valley will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 7-5 record after their 45-38 league win over Coleville (Coleville, CA).
With the defeat, Virginia City moves to 11-4 on the year. The Muckers travel to Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV) to face the Warriors in a 1A West game on Monday, January 22. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-12. Whittell lost 64-26 in their recent league game against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV)
