The Bulldogs now possess a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrizo Springs for a 4A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Somerset will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 55-54 league loss to Devine (Devine, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Mavericks come into the 4A Region IV District 29 battle with a 15-14 record. In their last battle, Pearsall was overwhelmed by Floresville (Floresville, TX), 44-32, in a league battle.
