The South San Antonio Bobcats basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Southside Cardinals to 55 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Medina Valley for a 5A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, January 23. South San Antonio will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-61 league loss to Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-19.

The Cardinals (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region IV District 28 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Harlandale prevailed over McCollum (San Antonio, TX), 71-56, in a league contest.
