Utah High School Basketball - Wasatch thwarts Spanish Fork

The Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) basketball knocked off the visiting Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT), 70-59 in Friday's league test.

The Wasps (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Golden Eagles go into the 5A Region 7 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Maple Mountain went down by Timpview (Provo, UT), 68-56, in a league test.

The Dons now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Timpview for a 5A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 23. Spanish Fork will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 68-56 league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 10-5.
