St. Catherine's Angels (Racine, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI), 37-34 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Catherine's upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Angels host Martin Luther (Greendale, WI) to play the Spartans in a Metro Classic bout on Saturday, January 27. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Lancers play the Westosha Central Falcons (Salem, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 89-63 league win over Union Grove (Union Grove, WI).
