Virginia High School Basketball - Windsor knocked off by Sussex Central

The Sussex Central Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Windsor Dukes to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Surry County for a Tri-Rivers contest on Wednesday, January 24. Sussex Central will battle a Cougars team coming off a 68-42 league loss to Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-14.
The Dukes (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Nansemond River ran past Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 86-55, in a league contest.
