California High School Basketball - Trinity ripped by Weed

January 19, 2024: Weed, CA 96094

The Weed Cougars basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Trinity Wolves to 31 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etna for a Shasta Cascade contest on Tuesday, January 23. Weed will meet a Lions team coming off a 47-32 league loss to Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Lions record now stands at 7-12.

The Wolves (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Shasta Cascade contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Fall River was routed by Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA), 73-45, in a league contest.
