New York High School Basketball - Watkins Glen can't hold off Whitney Point

The Whitney Point Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Watkins Glen Lake Hawks to 53 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windsor Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Whitney Point will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-6.
The Lake Hawks (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Valley (Newark Valley, NY). The Cardinals come into the Section 4 Interscholastic - South Large contest with a 2-3 record.
