In Friday's league outing, the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball squad beat the visiting Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), by a count of 55-47.

The Red-Tailed Hawks (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder go into the outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Discovery Canyon was topped by Lutheran (Parker, CO), 60-50, in a league outing.

The Kadets now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a outing on Thursday, January 25.
