University Trojans (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 44-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Belton (Belton, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Non Freshman Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Waco will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
