Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) and the visiting Alberton Panthers (Alberton, MT), saw St. Ignatius's basketball squad wallop Alberton by a count of 57-29.

With the victory, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lincoln County (Eureka, MT) to play the Lions in a B District 7 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Panthers play the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Alberton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 77-8 league win over Troy (Troy, MT).
