The Alpharetta Raiders basketball team (Alpharetta, GA), was overwhelmed 61-18 in Friday's league battle with the host Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johns Creek for a AAAAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Pope will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 54-29 league loss to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-18.
The Raiders (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the AAAAAA Region 7 battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Roswell was overwhelmed by Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 44-37, in a league battle.
