Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Amity Warriors (Amity, OR), 52-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A PacWest bout on Monday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Santiam Christian won 43-35 in their recent league bout against Dayton (Dayton, OR)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) in a 3A PacWest bout, on Monday, January 22. Amity will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record.
