Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stella High Charter Academy Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 30-12 in a league bout.

With the victory, Animo South Los Angeles upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Crosstown bout on Monday, January 22. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Foshay won 36-17 in their recent league bout against Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) in a Crosstown bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Stella High Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 36-17 league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA).
