Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN), 50-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Annandale upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Cardinals host Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Dragons play the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 81-21 non-league loss to New London-Spicer (New London, MN).
