Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), 62-4 in a league bout.

With the win, Exira-EHK upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA) to play the Crusaders in a Rolling Valley bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Coon Rapids-Bayard won 67-14 in their recent non-league bout against Ogden (Ogden, IA)

Next up, the Rockets play the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Ar-We-Va will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 56-32 league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA).
