The Royalton Royals basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars to 62 in the Royals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foley for a AA Section 6 contest on Monday, January 22. Royalton will battle a Falcons team coming off a 75-62 league win over Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 7-7.

The Jaguars (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Paynesville nudged Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN), 54-25, in a non-league contest.
