Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard West topples Bellevue West

In Friday's league outing, the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) basketball squad beat the host Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), by a margin of 74-62.

The Wildcats (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 15-0 record. In their last outing, Johnston defeated Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 43-31, in a league outing.

The Thunderbirds now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Marian for a A District TBD outing on Thursday, January 25. Bellevue West will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 78-20 league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-3.
