Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), 75-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Bobcats host Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to play the Go-Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Go-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Waverly-Shell Rock won 76-13 in their recent non-league bout against Charles City (Charles City, IA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. South Tama County will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record.
