South Carolina High School Basketball - Bethune-Bowman can't hold off Scott's Branch

The Scott's Branch Eagles basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Bethune-Bowman Mohawks to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carvers Bay for a A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Scott's Branch will battle a Bears team coming off a 60-9 league win over Hemingway (Hemingway, SC). The Bears record now stands at 11-8.

The Mohawks (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the A Region 7 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Branchville was nudged by Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC), 64-10, in a league contest.
