The Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 45-7 in Friday's league test.

The (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA). The Knights go into the Cross Valley test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Academy for Academic Excellence was trounced by Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA), 64-43, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hesperia Christian for a Cross Valley test on Tuesday, January 23. Big Bear will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 50-22 league win over University Prep (Victorville, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-4.
