The Bowne Wildcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Forest Hills Rangers to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newtown for a PSAL AAAA Queens I contest on Monday, January 22. Bowne will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 36-22 league loss to Flushing (Flushing, NY). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-8.

The Rangers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Long Island City (Long Island City, NY). The Bulldogs enter the PSAL AAAA Queens I contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Long Island City was defeated by Flushing (Flushing, NY), 53-23, in a league match.
