Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX), 34-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Krum upgrades its record to 22-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Lions in a 4A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-19. Castleberry lost 52-17 in their recent league bout against Springtown (Springtown, TX)

Next up, the Bulls play the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 20-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 23-5 record after their 78-24 league win over Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX).
