With the win, Chesterfield upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Golden Rams host Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to play the Volunteers in a AA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Volunteers go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Andrew Jackson won 96-27 in their recent league bout against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Buford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
