North Carolina High School Basketball - East Gaston overwhelmed by Burns

The Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting East Gaston Warriors to 23 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Cherryville for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 23.

Next up, the Warriors play the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, January 23. East Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 56-18 league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
