With the victory, Haughton improves its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Parkway (Bossier City, LA) to play the Panthers in a 5A District 1 challenge on Monday, January 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 18-6. Parkway won 64-62 in their recent league challenge against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Monday, January 22. Byrd will attempt to improve on its 2-21 season record.
