The Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA), 61-18 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Early County (Blakely, GA). The Bobcats go into the A D2 Region 1 test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Early County walloped Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 55-44, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Terrell County for a A D2 Region 1 test on Saturday, January 20. Pataula Charter Academy will encounter a Greenwave squad coming off a 55-44 league loss to Early County (Blakely, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 12-5.
