Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 76-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Callaway upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Lanett (Lanett, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Lanett won 43-28 in their recent league bout against LaFayette (LaFayette, AL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. McNair will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Royal Knights go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 31-27 non-league loss to Atlanta International (Atlanta, GA).
