Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) and the visiting Cass Colonels (White, GA), saw Dalton's basketball squad wallop Cass by a tally of 55-24.

With the victory, Dalton improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Catamounts host Carrollton (Carrollton, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Carrollton won 81-13 in their recent league challenge against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA)

Next up, the Colonels play the Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Cass will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 58-25 league loss to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA).
