Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Dexter (Dexter, ME) to play the Tigers in a C North bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME) in a C North bout, on Monday, January 22. George Stevens Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 57-52 league loss to Machias (Machias, ME).
