In Friday's league outing, the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA), by a margin of 52-26.

The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their outing against Mayfield (Pasadena, CA). The Cubs go into the Prep outing with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Mayfield was crushed by Providence (Burbank, CA), 36-33, in a league bout.

Next up, the Dolphins play the Flintridge Prep Wolves (La Canada, CA) in a Prep bout, on Monday, January 22. Chadwick will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 20-1 record after their 61-35 league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA).
