Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) and the visiting Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL), saw Chilton County's basketball squad wallop Jemison by a count of 51-20.

With the victory, Chilton County upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Calera (Calera, AL) to play the Eagles in a 6A Area 5 challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-18. Calera won 45-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby County (Columbiana, AL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Jemison will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 49-47 league loss to Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL).
