Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA), 73-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Clinch County upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a A D2 Region 2 bout on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Titans clash with the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Turner County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 16-0 record after their 52-46 league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
