Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA) and the host Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA), saw Yucca Valley's basketball squad wallop Coachella Valley by a count of 66-29.

With the victory, Yucca Valley upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to West (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. West lost 71-19 in their recent league challenge against Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA)

Next up, the Mighty Arabs play the Desert Chapel Eagles (Palm Springs, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Coachella Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 46-12 non-league loss to West Shores (Salton City, CA).
