The NorthPointe Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Comstock Park Panthers to 34 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkins for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Tuesday, January 23. NorthPointe Christian will meet a Vikings team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Belding (Belding, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-6.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Squires enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Calvin Christian ran past Sparta (Sparta, MI), 47-29, in a non-league contest.
