The Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH) basketball nipped the host Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH), 48-42 in Friday's league test.
The Orioles (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders go into the Division III test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Belmont was tipped by Campbell (Litchfield, NH), 66-59, in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kearsarge for a Division III test on Tuesday, January 23. Gilford will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 57-38 league win over Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
