The Connally Cadets basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Robinson Rockets to 26 in the Cadets league victory on Friday.
The Cadets now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host China Spring for a 4A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Connally will battle a Cougars team coming off a 58-38 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-20.
The Rockets (10-17) will now prepare for their contest against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets come into the 4A Region III District 23 contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Gatesville was defeated by La Vega (Waco, TX), 111-35, in a league contest.
