Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) and the visiting Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX), saw Cotulla's basketball squad wallop Dilley by a count of 45-9.
With the victory, Cotulla upgrades its record to 3-16 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Hondo (Hondo, TX) to play the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, January 23. The Wolves now own a 2-22 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal City for a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, January 23. Dilley will encounter a Javelinas squad coming off a 62-35 league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 14-14.
