Virginia High School Basketball - Cox ripped by Green Run

The Green Run Stallions basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Cox Falcons to 25 in the Stallions league triumph on Friday.
The Stallions now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nansemond River for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Green Run will battle a Warriors team coming off a 58-26 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-1.
The Falcons (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins enter the Beach contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Bayside triumphed over Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 61-10, in a league contest.
