The Daphne Trojans basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Foley Lions to 57 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairhope for a 7A Area 2 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Daphne will battle a Pirates team coming off a 55-36 league loss to Daphne (Daphne, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 12-11.
The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Forest (Pensacola, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Pine Forest was nudged by Booker T. Washington (Pensacola, FL), 48-41, in a league contest.
