The West Hall Spartans basketball team (Oakwood, GA), was overwhelmed 63-15 in Friday's league battle with the host Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a AAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Dawson County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 54-20 league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-10.

The Spartans (0-15) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, Johnson was overwhelmed by Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 71-14, in a league battle.
