Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) and the host SkyView Academy Hawks (Highlands Ranch, CO), saw Dawson School's basketball squad hold off SkyView Academy by a tally of 33-31.

With the victory, Dawson School improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO) to play the Eagles in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Gilpin County won 54-19 in their recent league challenge against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO)

Next up, the Hawks play the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles (Greeley, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. SkyView Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
