New York High School Basketball - Dewey can't hold off Midwood

The Midwood Hornets basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Dewey to 25 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit Academy for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 21. Midwood will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-38 league win over Bedford Academy (Brooklyn, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 16-3.
The (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Brooklyn Tech (Brooklyn, NY). The Engineers come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Brooklyn Tech edged Fort Hamilton (Brooklyn, NY), 64-49, in a non-league contest.
