Colorado High School Basketball - Lutheran crushes Discovery Canyon

Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 70-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Lutheran upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Lions travel to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO) to clash with the Rangers in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Lewis-Palmer won 46-33 in their recent league bout against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)

Next up, the Thunder clash with the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak bout, on Monday, January 22. Discovery Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 56-24 league loss to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO).
