DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Legacy Early College Lions (Greenville, SC), 50-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DME Academy upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The DME Academy travel to Grind Prep (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the G.R.I.N.D in a Freelance bout on Saturday, January 20. The G.R.I.N.D go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Grind Prep lost 58-53 in their recent non-league bout against Example Academy National (Frankfort, IL)

Next up, the Lions play the Victory Christian Center Kings (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Legacy Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Kings go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 65-52 league loss to 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
