The Drew Dragons basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Gateway Gators to 38 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to International for a Bay Counties - Central contest on Tuesday, January 23. Drew will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 37-31 league loss to The Bay School (San Francisco, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-8.

The Gators (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against San Francisco Waldorf (San Francisco, CA). The Wolverines enter the Bay Counties - Central contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, San Francisco Waldorf nudged Jewish Community (San Francisco, CA), 54-22, in a league contest.
