Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), 53-3 in a league bout.

With the win, Roxboro Community upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to clash with the Pride in a 1A Triangle North bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Henderson Collegiate lost 68-12 in their recent league bout against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC)

Next up, the Flying Lions clash with the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) in a 1A Triangle North bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 68-12 league win over Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).
