The Faith Christian Patriots basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans to 22 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrells Christian Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent contest on Monday, January 22. Faith Christian will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 38-32 league loss to Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-7.

The Spartans (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lee Christian (Sanford, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Lee Christian was defeated by Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC), 55-16, in a league contest.
